My name is Melisa; I’m 27 yrs old and single. I was born in Miami but, raised in Houston, TX since I was 2yrs. My mother is Mexican and my father is German. I’ve traveled to Mexico but, still await my trip to Germany. I want to visit as many beautiful places this world holds before my life is at its end. My favorite color is purple and my passion is music, I get lost in it. I draw but, don’t perform the art as much as I should. I can never establish a favorite song because the range of music I love is from all sides…there are too many brilliant lyrics for me to decide on only one. I look to quotes as my means of motivation. I believe writing is for me, how I can let myself go emotionally. I love to cook and I’m always going to the store and trying to experiment on a new dish. I have a balanced life between two opposite worlds. I take full advantage of my time at home living the ordinary life with a 9-6, Mon-Fri occupation, staying in or going to the movies, having barbeques, making my home into it’s own paradise of fun for me and I appreciate having that option but, I also take strides into the other life with the clubs and the models, night life and of course the occasional mingling. Somehow I make both happen and it works for me. My turn-on’s would have to be a man who is honest, who makes me laugh and isn’t afraid to show me he has heart. Turn-off’s a man who lies and who is insecure and doesn’t keep up with himself maintenance wise. I love to watch sports, basketball is my #1. Animals are special to me, and I hope to one day be able to do more to help them in some way. My wish more than anything now would be to find a cure for cancer; it’s such a horrible disease that is beyond seeming un-fair, it is true heart break. Someday I hope to be married with a family and dog, a porch and huge Oak trees surrounding my home. I’m old-school when it comes to relationships and I’m a romantic waiting for my knight to show his face. Love is what gives reason to every morning I wake up…without it, there is nothing. Poetry Section By: Kyle P Soler Love is a bird in the air, A song in the breeze. A friend among strangers, A cure to a disease. A cute furry puppy, All rolled in a ball. A five year old boy, Making himself look tall. Love is an emotion, Something you can embrace. Love is a hand, Slapping you in the face. Taking you back to reality, Your feet on the ground. A thousand hearts breaking, Without making a sound. Believe By: Kayla Neil I believe that the sun shines after the rain I believe if you don't get hurt you'll never gain I believe in not doing things the easy way I believe that being selfish doesn’t pay I believe in a second chance I believe in a life long romance I believe there is life after death And standing up to a life of mess I believe in love at first sight I believe that revenge isn’t right I believe that first impressions last And there is nothing better then a good laugh I believe that dreams do come true I believe there's destiny for me and you I believe that good things come to those who wait I believe love never arrives too late I believe something good comes from something bad I believe that for tears of happiness there are tears of sad I believe everyone has a guardian angel And the good you do will be rewarded well I believe sometimes there is no explanation I believe money can't buy people's affection I believe you don't know what you've got until it's gone I believe a new day arrives with every dawn I believe a smile can be contagious I believe in being very outrageous I believe in living with no regrets I believe that life is as good as it gets I believe that God watches over us I believe the little things are worth the fuss I believe you have each friend for a reason I believe you will get punished for treason I believe that what comes first is family I believe we should all live in harmony I believe in making the most of a beautiful day And it's not the end until everything's okay I believe absence makes the heart grow fonder I believe you will lose if you sit and wonder I believe every experience teaches you a lesson And nothing cures better then a drinking session I believe everyone has one true love I believe sometimes we need a little shove I believe the whole world is a stage I believe we only get better with age I believe that to learn you have to live I believe that to love someone you have to give I believe one moment can change your life And there's still help when you’re in strife I believe everyone has one true friend I believe love helps a broken heart mend I believe in the power of a song And things will change before too long I believe living is the best experience I believe in not laughing at other people’s expense I believe it’s hard to watch a lover leave And when they’re gone all you can do is breath I believe to always look on the bright side I believe that life is just one big ride I believe when I die people will grieve But it’s ok because I believe Roses are red. Violets are blue. Come out for a visit. We'd love to see you! --Vikto® (='.'=) (**)(**)

Flattering Styles For
Women With Curves by: Her Plus Life Are you one of those fabulous women that has curves, and you would like to know a fun way of showing them off? There are several ways to make your figure look the way that you want. It is all in the manner that you carry yourself. Being confident and following a few basic rules on how to dress will make you look like the woman you want to be. The first rule is to go out and buy the correct size bra. A good bra will make your outfits look the way that they should. Having curves is a wonderful thing to have, but you need to know how to make them fit right with your clothing style. It is amazing what a great bra can do for your figure. The second rule is buying clothes that are the right size for you. So, go ahead and throw away all those clothes that are too baggy on you. Say hello to a more fun, alive figure. Stop hiding it. Wearing sizes too big or small for your body frame will only accentuate your weight, and not your lovely curves. You do not want to wear shapeless styles. Try wearing semi-fitted separates. It will make you look taller and thinner, and make it look like you have a more sculpted waist. Wear tops that just skim your waist and hips. Jackets should be worn just to the length of your fingertips. As for your bottoms, select clothes that tend to taper downwards. It will look better than other styles. Skirts will look good if they are not too high. If you can sit in your skirt without it ridding up on you, then you are all set. Shift dresses are great especially with a round neckline. It will even out your proportions wonderfully. The third rule is not to wear anything that is too bold, and that calls extra attention to yourself. That means no super bold prints, no big patch pockets, no oversized buttons or bows, and no horizontal patterns. You want to wear a nice crisp line of color, and then accessorize with just a few simple accessories such as jewelry or a scarf. Sometimes even just wearing one solid color all over is great look. It will add height to your frame, and shrink your width. The last rule is very easy. You should buy the best quality that you can afford. Quality fabrics can make all the difference in how you look. Fine fabrics look better than stiff fabrics that can add inches onto your body. In addition, well-made clothes will hold their shape better. Better shape will improve your shape too. If you follow all these rules, you will look and feel better. So go out, and let your light shine. Better clothes, for a better you! |
